My Name is Christian Franck. I am currently a student of 'Computer Science in Media' at the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern location Zweibrücken. Beside my studies I am working as a research assistant for the Company German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence.

I develop small applications for Windows and Mac OS in C++, C#, Objective-C, VB and Java. For example you are free to test my educational programm called iDCT.
iDCT ist ein Programm, das für die Vorlesung 'Discrete Singalverarbeitung' geschrieben wurde. Es zeigt wie JPEG ein Bild komprimiert wird und wie es vor/nach der Kompression aussieht (Verlustbehaftet). Zur Demonstration wird ein 8x8 Pixelblock, entweder ein vorgefertigtes oder selbst erstelltes Muster das die Helligkeitswerte der Pixel enthält, komprimiert.
